Junior Account Executive

Junior Account Executives are in training to become Account Executives. They will perform many of the duties of an account executive, albeit on a smaller scale. They are responsible for new and/or existing business accounts with support from the Producer and Account Executive. Junior AEs manage an assigned book of business and build, expand, and solidify relationships with existing clients, acting as a resource to address the client's high‑level needs.

Essential Job Functions And Responsibilities Ability to meet deadlines, exhibit great attention to detail, and communicate in a positive manner is essential. Communicating professionally and clearly is required. A thorough understanding of software, systems, business procedures, and problem‑solving is necessary for success.

Manages an assigned book of business and builds, expands, and solidifies relationships with existing clients.

Secures existing business and drives the sale of additional services and coverage levels.

Cultivates relationships with the most senior buyer in the client organization as well as with day‑to‑day client representatives and buyers.

Nurtures and improves client relations by providing expedited turnaround time for client and team requests and delivering exemplary service.

Reviews summary reports of insurance policies with assessment of coverages and improvements submitted by support staff.

Sends the bind order with the final, revised quote to the Producer for review and then to the underwriter asking to bind coverage.

Assists with marketing new and renewal accounts according to company procedures.

Utilizes appropriate agency systems and databases to complete initial information for supplemental applications, following outlined policies and procedures.

Assists in creating/preparing proposals to present to the client.

Attends company training, meetings and events as required.

Other duties as assigned by management.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Commitment to professional development and continuous learning in commercial property and casualty insurance coverages.

EPIC and CSR24 workflow standards and maintenance of documentation.

Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask while paying close attention to detail.

Knowledge of insurance market trends, submission processes and policy coverages.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to de‑escalate tense client interactions while providing a timely solution to their concerns.

Minimum Qualifications

2–3 years of client management experience working on large commercial accounts.

P&C licensed.

Education and Licensing

CISR, CIC, CRM, ARM, AAI, and/or CPCU designations preferred.
