Matisse Records is a new upcoming record label that started out in Massachusetts and is right now located in New Jersey. Our goals are in the next 5 years to be a semi-well known label in the northeast with a vast but limited amount of signed artists. Our missions include promoting fair and transparent contracts to all artists, affordable services, promoting all different music genres and promoting women in all aspects of the music industry. Please note that these are unpaid internships from September to December but can be added to a resume, and overtime can be a possible paid internship/promotion to a paid part or full time position. Responsibilities Include:
Email List Building: Compile and maintain lists of music influencers, bloggers, playlist curators, and local women-run businesses for potential collaborations.
Internship Outreach: Identify and connect with individuals interested in internships, facilitating form completion for tracking.
Drafting Outreach Templates: Create templates for artist recruitment, collaboration proposals, and press introductions.
Event Research: Investigate local showcases and events that align with our brand for potential participation or partnerships.
Social Media Management: Assist in creating and scheduling content for social media platforms to enhance engagement and visibility.
Marketing Campaign Support: Collaborate on executing marketing strategies and campaigns to promote artists and upcoming events.
Market Analysis: Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies.
Data Tracking: Monitor and report on outreach efforts, engagement metrics, and campaign performance.

Events & Activations Intern Researching showcases, coordinating event opportunities, venue outreach
Social Media & Content Intern Content creation, scheduling, and platform management
Marketing Analytics & Research Intern Market trends, campaign tracking, and data reporting
Qualifications No degree required and no professional experience needed. 1 month-2+ years experience preferred in areas of both social media and graphic design. Love of music is very much required. Must be based in Northeast Region, US ONLY, New Jersey applicants preferred
