Position Summary

The Rosenbauer America Marketing Internship provides hands on support to the Marketing Department through the creation of visual content, social media community engagement, and assistance with press release distribution. The intern will help maintain online listings, support brand consistency reviews, collaborate with internal teams on communication needs, and assist with merchandise documentation. This role offers practical experience in marketing within a fast paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Functions

All employees are required to support Rosenbauer’s Mission, Vision, and Values. The scope and duties of a given position may change or be temporarily altered based on the business needs of Rosenbauer.

Develop Visual Assets

Create high quality visual content including photos, videos, and graphic artwork for use in print materials, digital platforms, social media channels, and by our dealer network. Support editing and post production of visual assets using Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools.

Support Press Release Creation & Distribution

Draft, format, and publish press releases across Rosenbauer America’s digital platforms, including social media and rosenbaueramerica.com, and distribute to media partners.

Social Media Community Management Monitor and respond to customer comments and messages on Rosenbauer social platforms. Engage with fans who tag or share Rosenbauer related content on their personal accounts. Select recipients for Rosenbauer promotional merchandise as part of engagement initiatives. Moderate and block inappropriate content in accordance with Rosenbauer’s communication policies. Capture Weekly Production Photography

Take weekly progress photos of Minnesota campus apparatus in production and upload them to the Production Photos archive.

Develop Campus Tour Script

Create a polished, standardized Minnesota campus tour script for use by team members during customer visits and VIP tours.

Maintain Online Listings & Campus Presence

Manage and update Rosenbauer’s local web presence, including Google Business Profiles; verify listings and monitor/respond to comments for all campus locations.

Assist with Merchandise Management

Support Rosenbauer merchandise inventory, organization, documentation, and fulfillment activities.

Brand Consistency Support

Review marketing materials including select dealer-submitted assets and internal documents to ensure alignment with Rosenbauer brand standards, including correct logo usage, color accuracy, and messaging consistency.

Cross-Department Communication Support

Collaborate with engineering, production, HR, and other internal teams to gather information and assist with communication needs such as employee highlights, product updates, and recruitment related content.

Other Duties as Assigned

Perform additional responsibilities as directed by management to support departmental and company objectives.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSA'S):

Knowledge, Education, And/or Experience

In process of obtaining or recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales or a related field required. Previous experience in a marketing, sales, or design role preferred. Drone license preferred.

Skills

Language:

Able to find, read, and interpret relevant scientific and technical documentation and standards. Able to actively participate in engineering discussions by listening, asking relevant questions, and suggesting solutions to problems. Able to follow written and verbal directions and communicate new information that could affect project trajectories. Must be able to professionally communicate with vendors, customers, and individuals within Rosenbauer.

Math

Basic math functions and accounting abilities with a high aptitude for accuracy.

Computer

Able to perform intermediate PC functions in Microsoft Office Suite, including the use of spreadsheet tables and formulas.

Abilities

Able to deal with problems involving a variety of variables in non standard situations. Strong attention to detail. Able to understand and apply an engineering development process. Able to prioritize work and to multitask while adhering to deadlines. Able to work with minimal supervision in a team environment. Able to understand and follow all safety policies to promote a safe working environment for all.
