Our client has an immediate opening for an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join their team in their Chicago office. This is a strong career opportunity with an excellent platform at an AmLaw 100 firm offering exposure to sophisticated real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and debt and equity deals across multiple markets.
Key Responsibilities
Perform and coordinate due diligence (title commitments, surveys, zoning reports)
Prepare title and survey objection letters
Assist in preparation and review of real estate conveyance and closing documents
Coordinate closings for acquisitions, dispositions, and financingsPrepare closing books
Draft and file UCC financing statements
Draft leases, purchase contracts, easements, and deeds
Interface with firm clients and outside entities on assigned matters
Qualifications
5+ years of transactional real estate paralegal experience in a large law firm setting
Strong knowledge of due diligence processes, title and survey review, closing coordination, and real estate conveyance documents
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and provide exceptional service to internal and external clients
