Natural Gas Originator / Structurer – Houston, TX
We’re partnered with a well-backed platform looking to hire a Natural Gas Originator / Structurer into their Houston team. This is a front-office role focused on developing commercial opportunities and executing deals across US gas markets.
The Role
Originate and execute natural gas transactions across physical and structured markets
Build and manage relationships with producers, utilities, industrials, and midstream counterparties
Structure and negotiate agreements across supply, transport, storage, and structured deals
Work closely with trading teams to convert flow into PnL opportunities
Identify value across basis, spreads, and asset optimization
The Profile
Background in natural gas origination, business development or sales
Strong commercial instincts with the ability to source and develop opportunities
Good understanding of US gas markets (pipeline/storage experience a plus)
Existing relationships are beneficial but not required
Exposure to RNG / energy transition
