Job Description
OES Equipment, part of the DPR Family of Companies, is a fast-paced supply and rental equipment company in the construction industry seeking a Purchasing Specialist, National. This role is crucial to the success of the Procurement Team. This position is responsible for supporting the Purchasing Team by placing orders, processing transfers and invoices, ensuring data accuracy, and communicating with internal teams as well as external vendors. Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to the following:
Duties And Responsibilities
Create Purchase orders, generate transfers, and process invoices
PO generation for National support needs
Create transfers for National support as needed
Process invoices as necessary
Lead & support multiple National Initiatives and Projects concurrently
Ensure national support projects are completed thoroughly, and external teams are aware of their responsibilities
Review Inventory Valuation Report as needed
Support and respond to purchasing related questions from the Mega Projects Branch teams related to initiatives supporting
Email communication with vendors and/or branch team members as necessary
Support requests via email and other internal communication tools
Support issue resolution via email and other internal communication tools
Additional ad-hoc responsibilities as necessary
Required Skills And Abilities
Strong attention to detail and well organized
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work in both a team environment and independently
Positive interpersonal skills with a “can-do” attitude
Education And Experience
Construction supply and equipment industry knowledge
Experience with RentalMan
Experience with Coupa
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift 15 pounds if needed
