Position Overview This is a fixed term maternity leave cover position between 12-18 months.

The DTC Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, leading and implementing the Direct-to-consumer (DTC) marketing strategy for the Omnipod brand at regional and local levels. The primary objective of this role is to build and scale the European business and deliver consistent double digit topline growth through impactful, insight-driven marketing. Key duties include executing DTC strategic initiatives, developing channel and consumer propositions, creating compelling messaging, and building data‑driven marketing plans and programs that drive funnel progression and support the achievement of strategic targets. Marketing strategies encompass brand campaigns, channel strategies, digital and social media plans, consumer programs, community engagement and advocacy-oriented initiatives including events and partnership activities.

This role collaborates closely with PR, media, social agencies, manages cross‑channel campaigns, oversees website/landing page optimization, supports launch readiness, and drives demand generation particularly for the AID systems category. The position supports regional and country sales teams with effective resources and ensures strong alignment with global and international teams as well as functions like Legal, Medical, Customer service and clinical training.

Responsibilities

Anticipates market needs by analyzing consumer trends, digital behavior, pathways, and competitive dynamics

Builds insights, personas, knowledge and understanding of DACH region and local health care environment

Translates insights into effective tactics amongst marketing plans and communicates these across the organisation

Leads the development and execution of regional DTC strategies, including target segments, value propositions and competitive positioning

Drives overall brand performance through integrated DTC marketing programs focused on awareness, interest, consideration and conversion

Develops and executes integrated commercial launch assets into marketing plans including core strategies, tactics, KPIs, budgets and timing

Ensures channel-agnostic, consumer‑centric go-to-market execution

Leads consumer facing digital channel for the DACH region, including website, landingpages, email and social platforms

Drives performance marketing across paid social, search, display and programmatic channels

Implements continuous conversion rate optimisation via A/B testing and performance analytics

Builds dashboards to track KPIs and optimise channel investments

Collaborates with PR and press, including storytelling, press releases, media engagement

Manages external PR and media agencies, including briefing execution oversight, KPI evaluation and budget control

Ensures consistent and integrated comms across channels

Develops structured, insight‑driven social media content plans aligned with brand objectives and consumer needs

Oversees community management in close collaboration with International counterpart

Localises consumer engagement programmes and develops advocacy‑oriented activities such as events or community-based partnerships

Designs and executes demand‑generation activities to support growth of AID systems category

Ensures compliance across all DTC activities aligned with legal, regulatory, and internal requirements

Manages content submissions and approval workflows using Veeva ensuring version control, documentation and audit-readiness

Collaborates across regional, international and global functions and teams

Oversees regional DTC budgets and ensures optimized spending

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required; Master's degree is strongly preferred

Several years of experience in consumer marketing – ideally within med‑tech and/or diabetes related sectors

Demonstrated strategic thinking capabilities with a forward‑looking perspective

Strong communication, leadership and collaboration skills and the ability to work with diverse teams

Experience managing agencies and non‑profit organisations

Ability to influence without authority, including senior‑level stakeholders

Familiarity with complex, competitive markets preferred

Significant travel required to meet partners and support regional activities

Ability to understand and connect to the patient experience

Preferred Skills / Competencies

EU regional and in‑country travel required

Degree in either a business, marketing, medical or science discipline is required; postgraduate training advantageous

Substantial experience in downstream marketing and newly product commercialisation

Previous experience in an EU/global marketing role is considered essential

Strong digital marketing background (SEA, SEO, SoMe, performance marketing)

Customer‑centric mindset

Ability to work cross‑culturally and build strong relationships across markets and functions

Experience with approval workflows and systems, such as Veeva

Ability to act as internal DTC champion and share best practices
