(Small air filtration devices do not qualify)

Previous experience with CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods)

Experience creating camera-facing content

We are seeking a highly creative, trend-savvy, organized, and execution-focused Social Media Content Specialist to help shape the voice of innovation for iconic brands.

This role requires a strong passion for social media, storytelling, and content production, along with the ability to translate strategy into impactful, platform-native content.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, manages multiple priorities, and actively participates in on-camera content creation.

Role & Responsibilities

Content Creation (80%)

Create engaging, platform-native content for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook

Shoot original videos and capture photography

Design static graphics and produce short-form video content

Maintain project timelines and content workflows

Coordinate asset requests, approvals, and publishing schedules

Write captions and support engagement effortsCollaborate with internal teams and agency partners

Stay updated on social media trends and emerging formats

Manage organic social handles, including audience engagement via DMs

Appear on camera in produced content (required)

Social Media Operations & Execution (20%)

Plan and execute social media campaigns

Track performance and identify optimization opportunities

Maintain content calendars across platforms

Ensure brand consistency and strategic alignment

Monitor trends and recommend tactical improvements

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or related field (preferred)

2-3+ years of experience in social media management

Strong copywriting and communication skills

Proven experience in content creation and coordination

Proficiency in tools such as:

Adobe Creative Suite.

Canva.

CapCut.

Strong skills in:

Graphic design.

Videography.

Photography.

Video editing.

Strong project management and multitasking abilities.

Deep understanding of social media platforms and best practices.

Experience with social media tools (Sprinklr preferred).

Detail-oriented with strong accountability.

Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Experience with analytics and performance reporting.

Working Conditions

Hybrid work setup (Greater Chicago Metro Area).

Occasional evening/weekend work may be required.

Travel up to 25% for content capture, collaboration, or events.
