We are seeking a visionary Vice President of Marketing and Communications to lead the development and execution of our branding, marketing strategy, and communications efforts. Reporting to the SVP Hospice Target Markets and Corporate Operations Administration, this executive leader will drive both strategic direction and day‑to‑day execution of all marketing initiatives, brand identity, public relations, digital campaigns, events, and internal communications. The ideal candidate brings senior‑level marketing leadership experience, deep knowledge of the healthcare sector, and the ability to build high‑performing marketing teams in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment.

Essentia l Functions of the Position Brand and Strategy Leadership

Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies that support organizational goals and market positioning

Maintain a consistent and compelling brand identity across all communication channels

Conduct competitive and industry analysis to inform market trends and brand positioning

Marketing Campaign Execution

Oversee execution of all marketing campaigns including consumer advertising, digital marketing, public relations, and events

Lead creation of marketing materials, content, presentations, and digital assets

Partner with internal stakeholders including business development, sales, and clinical teams to support outreach and engagement

Team Development and Leadership

Recruit, train, and mentor a top‑performing marketing team; set objectives, track performance, and provide developmental feedback

Manage day‑to‑day operations of the marketing function and ensure alignment with company‑wide initiatives

Foster collaboration and a culture of innovation within the marketing and communications department

Reputation Management and Public Relations

Lead media relations, corporate communications, and crisis management initiatives

Oversee vendor and agency relationships in marketing, public relations, and creative services

Guide internal and external communications efforts that support reputation and brand trust

Digital Strategy and Analytics

Direct development and implementation of digital marketing campaigns across web, social, and paid channels

Evaluate analytics and campaign data to optimize performance and marketing spend

Manage marketing budget, vendor costs, and ROI tracking

Internal Communications and Training

Educate field leadership, clinical staff, and support teams on marketing programs, tools, and messaging

Ensure effective rollout of campaigns and initiatives across remote and field teams

Promote consistent communication of marketing priorities within the organization

About You Specialized Knowledge and Skills

Proven success leading marketing in a healthcare or related services environment

In‑depth knowledge of marketing trends, digital marketing, brand strategy, and public relations

Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage large teams

Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance in a marketing context

Exceptional communication skills—verbal, written, and visual—with executive presence

Experience working with CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, and analytics dashboards

Ability to manage complex projects and shifting priorities across multiple teams and stakeholders

Experience managing creative and media agencies and negotiating marketing contracts

High‑level proficiency with design tools, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, business, or a related field required

15+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, including at least 5 years managing a team

Experience in hospice, home health, palliative care, or related healthcare industries is strongly preferred

Training and Equipment

Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Experience reviewing marketing data within electronic systems

Proficiency with creative design software and content platforms
