Influencer and Social Media Coordinator
to help drive our clients’ digital presence. This role will focus on crafting engaging content, managing social media platforms and building strong relationships with influencers both in Chicago and nationwide. We are seeking a proactive, self‑motivated individual who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and actively contributes to brand growth and supports client campaigns. This is a full‑time, hybrid position.
Responsibilities Execute influencer marketing campaigns from start to finish for both one‑off visits for our clients and larger influencer events
Create custom influencer lists tailored to our clients' specific audiences and goals
Draft tailored talking points/content briefs for partnerships
Monitor/ follow up for influencer content and clip it to reports
Provide real‑time reporting to clients & build recap reports with key learnings and insights
Negotiate rates for paid influencer partnerships, draft influencer agreements and review and edit content internally before sharing with the client for final approval.
Have a breadth of knowledge of the Chicago influencer landscapeand its creators
Vet inbound influencer requests
Have experience in sourcing and negotiating the rights to user generated content (UGC) for clients’ social media/digital advertising strategy
Identify new influencer partnership opportunities and emerging creators to support ongoing client growth and campaign innovation
Support client accounts with social media content creation, scheduling, and community management
Collaborate with account teams to create engaging, on‑brand content tailored to our agency and client goals
Develop and execute dynamic social media content calendars, including routing approvals, aligning content with key milestones and events, and ensuring timely, strategic publishing
Plan, schedule, and publish content using social media management tools
Monitor, respond to, and engage with followers to build community and increase visibility. This may include evening and weekend hours surrounding events.
Stay up to date on social media trends, tools, and best practices, proactively recommending new ideas and platforms
Coordinate with designers, copywriters, and digital staff to produce visually compelling, high‑performing content
Keep up with emerging trends and help develop content that is culturally relevant and brand‑aligned
Provide monthly reports and insights to leadership on progress and areas of opportunity
Qualifications
2‑3 years of influencer and social media experience, ideally in an agency or marketing/communications setting
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with attention to detail and brand voice
Solid understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and platform best practices
Proficiency in social media scheduling tools and analytics platforms
Experience with paid META campaigns
Excellent project management skills and ability to communicate and collaborate across departments and with clients
Experience with content capture, including live event coverage and behind‑the‑scenes storytelling
Ability to shoot high‑quality photos and short‑form video using a DSLR or mirrorless camera
Graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) for creating branded templates and assets
Video editing skills (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut) for reels, stories, and short‑form content
Proficiency in interpreting and applying client brand guidelines across platforms and content types
