Role Description This is a hybrid role for an Editorial Intern at Millcreek City Lifestyle, located in Salt Lake City, UT. The Editorial Intern will assist in content creation, writing, proofreading, and editing articles for both print and digital platforms. Responsibilities include conducting research for stories, collaborating with the editorial team, and supporting marketing campaigns to engage the community. The role requires creativity, effective communication, and attention to detail to ensure the quality and impact of our publications.
Qualifications
Strong writing and editorial skills to create accurate, engaging, and well‑structured content
Proficiency in communication and collaboration within a creative team environment
Analytical and research abilities to gather and verify information for articles
Basic knowledge or interest in marketing and a proactive approach to supporting campaigns
Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and passion for storytelling
Familiarity with digital publishing tools and social media platforms is a plus
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
Compensation As the publication currently does not have a budget allocated for monetary compensation, please consider University programs that provide funding for internships + the credits you will need for internships as well.
