Reports To: Head – International Business
Position Overview We are looking for a highly skilled Business Development Manager (International Markets) with strong expertise in tendering and strategic sales within the Power Transformer domain. The candidate will drive business growth across US.
Key Responsibilities International Business Development
Develop and execute business growth strategies for US.
Identify new markets, customers, and partners in target regions.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with EPC contractors, utilities and consultants.
Lead end-to-end tendering process including bid review, compliance, pricing, and submission.
Ensuring competitive techno-commercial offers submission & negotiation.
Coordinate with internal teams for technical and commercial accuracy.
Sales & Key Account Management
Manage major international accounts ensuring high retention and satisfaction.
Follow up on bids, negotiate commercial terms, and support contract closure.
Track tender portals and maintain an active pipeline.
Strategy & Reporting
Prepare market intelligence reports for US.
Provide product positioning and pricing strategy inputs.
Monitor sales targets and prepare MIS updates.
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and MBA (Marketing/International business) preferred.
5+ years of experience in Business Development/Tendering in Transformers.
International market experience in US.
