Description
Leidos DigMod is currently looking for an Asset Management Specialist to support the Network and Cabling Infrastructure (NetCI) Program for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) in delivering secure, reliable, and high-performance enterprise network services throughout the Hampton Roads region. The Asset Management Specialist supports asset accountability and logistics operations for the JPH NetCI program, maintaining accurate property records, coordinating equipment movement, supporting inventory management, and ensuring compliance with DoD property accountability and chain-of-custody requirements for both standard and classified equipment.
Property Accountability and Inventory Management
Maintain accurate records of Government-furnished and contractor-managed equipment within the program asset inventory.
Perform day-to-day asset tracking, equipment accountability, and inventory reconciliation.
Support periodic and annual physical inventory requirements.
Asset Management Systems Support
Support asset tracking and reporting within Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) and Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS).
Maintain accurate system records for asset assignments, equipment status, and location updates.
Assist the Asset Management Lead in maintaining compliance with system reporting and documentation requirements.
Logistics and Disposition Support
Coordinate DRMO activities including equipment disposition and documentation.
Maintain auditable documentation for property transfer, disposal, and lifecycle management activities.
Assist with equipment staging, warehousing, and logistics coordination.
Operational Coordination
Support the Asset Management Lead during seasonal operational surge periods, including equipment lifecycle refresh cycles and major program events.
Participate in ELMS/DPAS Warehousing Module training and system onboarding activities.
Required Qualifications
Active Secret clearance.
High school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years of relevant experience.
Experience supporting DoD asset management, property accountability, or logistics operations strongly preferred.
Experience with DPAS and/or ELMS required.
Familiarity with DoD property management procedures and documentation practices preferred.
Experience supporting equipment inventory, warehousing, or logistics coordination preferred.
Preferred Qualifications Hands‑on experience with:
ELMS (Enterprise Logistics Management System)
Receipt, transfer, inventory, and disposition of government property
Hand receipts and sub-hand receipts
Warehouse operations and stock control
Familiarity with:
Serialized tracking
Condition codes
Turn-in and disposal (DRMO / DLA Disposition Services)
Pay Range $35,750.00 – $64,625.00
