
Marketing Manager III (Contingent)

North America Stores Marketing is on a mission to make Amazon the most-loved shopping destination. We aspire to meet customers where they are with a steady drumbeat of inspiring, relevant, and automated content that builds upon recent shopping missions while also introducing new and timely ideas. The NASM Collections Team supports content creation & discovery by driving automated product curation and programming to help showcase new & timely products to millions of Amazon customers. We are the bridge between Marketing, Technology, and Science, helping to fuel automated product curation for exciting stories like Seasonal Events, Holiday, Customer's Most Loved, Premium Brands, New Arrivals, and more! With the help of technology, you will transform a content plan into collections of new and interesting products to help our customers sort through Amazon's selection.
The ideal candidate is a strong product marketer who is data-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable with ambiguity. You should love engaging with our products onsite. You will partner with content marketers, curation experts, channel owners, and cross‑functional stakeholders to develop brand‑burnishing, best‑selling, trend‑forward product collections leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs). You will be responsible for driving alignment across teams for key brand inclusion, key product types, and what we expect to see in the selection. You will then translate those product requirements into Business Requirement Documents, prompt engineer our LLM prompts to deliver them, and audit/QA the output. Ultimately, you will submit feedback to our tech partners to make our models better and better each time we use them.
As a leader on the team, you will be expected to influence across the organization, streamlining processes and implementing simplified solutions. You will contribute to go‑to‑market (GTM) narratives and flashes, and present to leadership to secure alignment. This role provides a great opportunity to make an outsized impact by driving discoverability and engagement across onsite and offsite channels, shifting customers' perception of Amazon and motivating them to shop.
Key Job Responsibilities
Serve as the single‑threaded Product Marketing leader overseeing product strategy for the Premium Brands collection. Work directly with business partners to ingest requirements. Define inclusion and exclusion rules, lead process and Business Requirement documents with Collections Product and Engineering teams, own development and execution of slicing, lead regular bug‑bashing of live experiences, and determine appropriate filters (e.g., Odd, Inappropriate, Aesthetic). Collections end output should be bar‑raising and drive significant iOPS.
Partner with content marketers to produce bar‑raising Premium product collections in support of key NASM workstreams like Seasonal Events, Holiday, and HVEs. This involves translating a high‑level content plan (e.g., Thanksgiving) into key product categories and brands, engineering a natural language prompt into our LLM, auditing the output, and adjusting accordingly.
Collaborate with channel owners to define targeting and experimentation opportunities for product collections. Bug bash Fabric or P13N slices to be recommendation/“front‑window” worthy.
Partner with Browse and Merchandising teams to inform page wireframes based on collection makeup.
Contribute to narratives and flashes to gain leadership buy‑in on strategies.
Report on the impact of collections and their performance.
Identify and implement opportunities for processes improvement through the creation of SOPs and RACIs.

Pay Range*: $50 - $55 per hour
