
ServiceNow SME (SAM Pro & ITOM Visibility)

Responsibilities
Lead Governance Planning and Setup for SAM Pro and ITOM Visibility, including executive steering and operating committee facilitation
Define governance structures, decision rights, escalation paths, RACIs, and product ownership models
Assess and improve CMDB health, establish CMDB governance, and align discovery dependencies with ITOM Visibility
Define and document end-to-end SAM processes, including entitlement intake, publisher alignment, and full asset lifecycle management
Develop a sustainable SAM and ITOM Visibility Operating Model, including roles, policies, procedures, KPIs, and reporting
Define success metrics across data quality, compliance, cost optimization, and discovery coverage
Support organizational change management, including workflow redesign, communications, training, and cross-team workshops
Partner closely with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment and adoption
Requirements
Extensive hands‑on experience as a ServiceNow SME, with deep expertise in SAM Pro and ITOM Visibility
Strong experience with CMDB governance, discovery, and data quality management
Proven ability to define and operationalize enterprise governance and operating models
Experience working in large, complex, multi‑team environments
Strong facilitation skills for executive and working‑level stakeholders
Ability to clearly document complex processes, metrics, and operating structures
Ability and willingness to work onsite in Orlando, FL two days per week
Nice to Have
ServiceNow certifications related to SAM Pro, ITOM, or CMDB
Background in IT Asset Management (ITAM) or IT Operations Management
Experience supporting enterprise‑scale implementations or transformations
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
