Social Media Intern – New York, NY (Hybrid)
Position Details
The Social Media Intern will support Marquee Brands’ Social Media team in content planning, platform management, trend monitoring, and performance reporting. Occasionally assist the Creative & Production team with photoshoot preparation. This role is ideal for a creative, detail‑oriented individual with a strong understanding of social platforms and a passion for digital storytelling. The intern will gain hands‑on experience collaborating with PR, Creative, and Brand teams while contributing to the growth and engagement of our brand portfolio.

Here’s what you will do here
Support the Social Media team with content curation for all Fashion and Lifestyle brands focusing on Instagram and TikTok.
Continuously do competitive research, surveying what the hot social trends are and how they can be applied to our brands.
Assist with weekly and monthly performance reporting, including tracking KPIs and pulling analytics.
Assist in seasonally updating Pinterest with campaign imagery and new content.
Community management across all social media profiles.
Be a vital asset on photoshoots, helping with everything from sample management, assisting the Stylist with steaming to taking social first content with Social Media Manager.
Assist Creative & Production team with pulling assets for shoots, aligning with MKTG calendars and partner needs.
This job is for you if
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Digital Media, or a related field.
Strong understanding of major social media platforms and current digital trends.
Excellent writing, communication, and storytelling skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or social analytics tools is a plus.
About The Internship The internship will be a 10-week summer internship program running from June 2nd – Aug 6th and will require the intern to be in office Tues-Thurs. The hourly rate will be $17.00 / hr.
