Role Summary We’re hiring a full-time Church Media Producer to lead end-to-end media production across weekend services and weekday content. You’ll plan shoots, capture video/audio, edit for multiple platforms, and deliver polished media that helps people engage with the mission of our church.
Key Responsibilities
Produce and edit weekly content packages for Sunday services (bumpers, testimonies, announcements, sermon series elements)
Shoot and edit short-form social content (Reels/Shorts/TikTok) and YouTube content
Capture live events as needed (services, baptisms, special events), including basic audio capture and lighting setup
Create storyboards/shot lists, coordinate schedules, and manage releases/permissions when needed
Maintain brand consistency (look/feel, music beds, lower thirds, graphics templates)
Organize and manage media assets (drive structure, project files, naming conventions, backups)
Collaborate with pastors and ministry leaders to develop content ideas and calendar
Coordinate volunteers and/or freelance support (camera ops, editors) when needed
Basic graphics support (titles, lower thirds, thumbnails) and handoff to design team if applicable
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated experience producing, shooting, and editing video content (portfolio required)
Proficiency in at least one editing platform (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, etc.)
Strong storytelling instincts and ability to adapt content for different audiences/platforms
Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with weekly deadlines
Reliable transportation and ability to work Sundays and occasional nights
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in church production or live event environments
Familiarity with livestream workflows (OBS/vMix), multi-cam, or switching (nice-to-have)
Audio basics (lav/boom setup, basic mixing/cleanup) and lighting fundamentals
Motion graphics experience (After Effects) or templated animation workflow
What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)
Establish a clean weekly workflow + content calendar for Sundays and social
Deliver consistent, on-brand edits with predictable turnaround
Build a simple shot library and templates (intros, lower thirds, music beds, project presets)
Improve content consistency and quality across YouTube + social platforms
Equipment / Tools (example – edit as needed)
