Freelance Photographer – Event

This role is for an experienced photographer to capture a reception-style work party in Tribeca, New York City. The event will host approximately 80-100 guests and takes place on Friday, May 8th, from 6pm to 9pm. The photographer will be required to shoot for 1-1.5 hours during the event, focusing on candid moments, group shots, and the overall atmosphere. Next day delivery of edited photos is highly preferred. This is an on‑site opportunity, and only local photographers will be considered.
Deliverables
Capture high-quality images of the event, including candid shots, group photos, and key moments.
Provide a curated selection of edited photos, delivered by the following day.
Ensure all images are professionally edited and suitable for client use.
Coordinate with event organizers to cover important moments and guest interactions.
Requirements
Proven experience in event or reception photography.
Strong portfolio demonstrating ability to capture candid and posed shots in dynamic environments.
Proficiency with professional camera equipment and editing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop).
Ability to deliver edited photos within 24 hours of the event.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with guests and organizers.
Must be based in or near New York City; no travel or remote applicants will be considered.
Availability on Friday, May 8th, from 6pm to 9pm.
