The Corporate Communications Intern will support the Marketing and Communications team with projects and initiatives that enhance internal and external messaging, manage associate communications, and research and monitor media coverage.
SUMMARY The Corporate Communications Intern will support the Marketing and Communications team with projects and initiatives that enhance internal and external messaging, manage associate communications, and research and monitor media coverage.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Create, edit, and proofread newsletters, blog posts, and press releases, and execute communication activities, including weekly and quarterly calls
Assist with company intranet updates, supporting associate engagement, and promoting brand consistency across all channels
Assist in preparing for the Weekly Leadership call
Prepare monthly reports summarizing the tracking and reporting of communication initiatives and projects
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program with a GPA of at least 3.0 and pursuing a degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, or related field

Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL QUALIFICATIONS
Standing, walking, bending and stooping required
Must be able to sit at a desk for long periods of time and use a computer
Must be able to occasionally move or lift up to 10 pounds
Limited travel required occasionally during and after business hours
