for a prominent client of ours. Details for the position are as follows:
Location: Remote (Seattle, WA preferred | PST hours required)
Duration: 1 year contract
Pay: $35-37/hr.
We are seeking a detail-oriented
Marketing Associate
to support audience creation and campaign execution within a fast-paced B2B marketing organization. This role sits within Marketing Strategy & Operations and focuses heavily on
audience building, data segmentation, and MarTech platform execution .
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in
marketing operations, ad operations, or account-based marketing (ABM)
who enjoys working with data, tools, and cross-functional teams to drive demand generation efforts.
What You’ll Do
Build, QA, and manage target audiences for demand generation campaigns using platforms like Demandbase
Execute audience segmentation using data logic (Boolean filters, SQL-like thinking)
Push and activate audiences across paid media platforms (LinkedIn, Google, Meta)
Manage and triage incoming requests (via Slack or ticketing workflows) related to audience creation and updates
Ensure data accuracy and integrity through validation in Excel/Google Sheets (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables)
Maintain strict adherence to naming conventions and taxonomy for campaign tracking and reporting
Troubleshoot audience discrepancies and provide clear explanations to non-technical stakeholdersCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support campaign execution and improve audience performance
Contribute to a test-and-learn environment, identifying opportunities to optimize and automate processes
Required Qualifications
1-5 years of experience in B2B marketing, marketing operations, or ad operations
Hands-on experience with an ABM or go-to-market platform (e.g., Demandbase, 6sense, Terminus)
Strong understanding of audience segmentation and data logic (Boolean logic, filtering, SQL-like structures)
Experience activating audiences in digital advertising platforms (LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, Meta)
Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, data validation)
Strong attention to detail with the ability to execute repetitive technical workflows accurately
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Experience working in a large, fast-paced organization
Preferred Qualifications
Background in ad operations (campaign tagging, UTMs, pixels, tracking)
Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot)
Exposure to Google Marketing Platform (DV360, Campaign Manager) or similar tools
Experience analyzing audience performance metrics (reach, match rates)
Understanding of data governance and privacy compliance in digital marketing
Process improvement mindset with a focus on automation and optimization
