FoodieLand is the leading food festival producer in the United States, operating 22+ events with a total attendance of over 2 million guests annually. Our events celebrate food, culture, and community across major markets including the Bay Area, Los Angeles, Austin, Las Vegas, Houston, Dallas, Seattle, Atlanta, and beyond. We're looking for a talented, creative Senior Video Editor to join our marketing team and help tell our story across social media.
Role Description The Senior Video Editor is responsible for editing and producing short-form video content that captures the energy of FoodieLand events and drives engagement across our social media platforms. This role works closely with our social media manager, videographers, and marketing leads to deliver polished, platform-native content at a high volume and fast pace. This is an in-office position with travel to our events.
Edit and produce short-form video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook
Transform raw event footage — vendor highlights, crowd moments, food features, and brand storytelling — into compelling platform‑ready edits
Collaborate with the social media and marketing team to develop content concepts and creative direction aligned with campaign goals
Maintain consistent brand voice, visual aesthetic, and quality standards across all video output
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines tied to event schedules
Organize and manage video assets within our digital asset management system
Stay current on platform trends, audio trends, and editing styles relevant to food, events, and lifestyle content
Provide creative guidance and light mentorship to junior video team members
Occasionally travel to events to support on-site content capture and production
Qualifications
4+ years of professional video editing experience with a strong focus on short‑form social media content
Expert‑level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; experience with After Effects, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve is a plus
Deep understanding of platform‑specific formats and best practices for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook
Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and audio design within short‑form formats
Experience editing high‑energy content in the food, entertainment, events, or lifestyle space preferred
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a fast‑paced, event‑driven environment
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle large volumes of footage
A portfolio or reel demonstrating range, creativity, and platform‑specific editing experience is required at time of application
Compensation $75,000–$95,000 annually
