What You Will Do

The Social Media Content Creator is responsible for developing engaging, brand aligned content that strengthens the institution’s digital presence across all social platforms. This role will create compelling content, graphics, and short form video while maintaining compliance with financial industry regulations. The position is critical in enhancing customer trust, promoting financial education, presenting our products and services, and elevating the institution’s reputation in the communities we serve. Creates high quality social media content (copy, graphics, videos, animations) that supports brand goals and both marketing and social media campaign objectives. Own daily posting schedules across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), TikTok, and YouTube. Produces short form video content that aligns with trending formats while maintaining brand integrity. Collaborates with internal partners to translate business priorities into compelling digital stories. Ensures all content adheres to regulatory, compliance, and accessibility requirements (e.g., ADA digital standards). Maintains a consistent brand voice tailored to the credit union’s trusted, community focused presence. Delivers ideas for the social content calendars in coordination with the marketing team. Monitors community engagement and respond to comments/messages in accordance with approved policies, protocols, and procedures, while understanding when to elevate sensitive matters as needed. Tracks performance metrics and optimizes content based on insights. Partners with compliance and risk teams to ensure posts meet regulatory standards (e.g., disclosures, prohibited language). Reviews platform analytics to identify high‑performing content and recommend adjustments to improve engagement and reach. Participates in or coordinates on‑camera storytelling that highlights employees, members, and community impact. Completes any other job‑related duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organization’s Values. What We Require

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Film/Video Production, Digital Media/Media Arts, or related field; or equivalent experience. 2–4 years of experience creating social media content for a corporate brand, agency, or financial institution. Ideal Candidate Will Have

Demonstrated ability to create high performing content on multiple platforms. Experience working in a regulated environment (banking, financial services, healthcare, insurance). Knowledge of financial literacy topics and community‑based storytelling. Experience with social listening tools and scheduling platforms (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Sprinklr). Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Premiere Rush, Canva). Knowledge of federal and state lending regulations, monetary procedures, and dealer ancillary products. Demonstrated ability to develop procedures, training materials, and process improvements.
