Overview
For one year, get paid to build sustainable solutions in a community, gain valuable hands on experience and prepare for your future. This full-time AmeriCorps service position offers a great opportunity to make an impact in the lives of others while building your own knowledge and skillset.
AmeriCorps VISTA members are Volunteers in Service to America who perform indirect service to build capacity and sustainable solutions.
What will you do?
Create and implement a consistent plan for multiple professional social media accounts to increase the affiliate’s presence and engagement on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other platforms.
Analyze insights from social media accounts, draw conclusions, and develop data‑driven marketing strategies to address diverse organizational needs.
Gain hands‑on experience with marketing analytics tools such as Google Analytics and email marketing platforms, analyzing the performance of campaigns to optimize future strategies.
Support the organization in marketing and design endeavors; develop flyers, graphics, and a manual of resources to promote social media accounts to outside community organizations.
Implement the production of long‑ and short‑form video content for social media and YouTube accounts.
Accompany the Public Relations Manager on trips to local radio stations and community events to promote current events and/or needs.
Assist with marketing and design for the annual fundraiser Beams and Dreams and for the annual Radiothon, including creating flyers, postcards, and email blasts.

Notable hikes include Worthington State Forest, Mount Tammany, and Orchard View Lavender Farm. Historical sites include Blairstown Museum, Delaware River Railroad Excursions, and Millbrook Village.
Additional attractions: Easton restaurants, Dorney Park amusement park, Villa Roller Rink, Top View Riding Ranch, Land of Make Believe, Lakota Wolf Preserve.
Unique projects: Marketing and design for Beams and Dreams fundraiser and Radiothon events.
