Job Description We are seeking an entry-level DevOps Engineer to support cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and application deployments. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in cloud platforms, system automation, and DevOps best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for application deployments.
Support cloud infrastructure setup and monitoring on AWS / Azure / GCP.
Automate deployments and infrastructure using scripting and IaC tools.
Monitor system performance, logs, and application availability.
Assist in containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve release processes.
Support configuration management and version control activities.
Document infrastructure, deployment processes, and runbooks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cloud Computing, or related field.
Basic understanding of DevOps concepts and workflows.
Knowledge of Linux/Unix commands.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
Experience with Git and version control.
Basic scripting knowledge (Shell / Python).
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills (Good-to-Have)
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Exposure to monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
Understanding of Ansible / Chef / Puppet.
Knowledge of networking, security basics, and load balancing.
Academic or project experience in DevOps or cloud automation.
