About the Company A rapidly scaling advanced manufacturing organization in the electrified transportation and energy storage sector is building a next‑generation U.S. production platform. Job Responsibilities
Oversee monthly consolidation and intercompany elimination entries.
Manage, train, and develop accounting staff, conducting performance evaluations and identifying training needs.
Plan and implement accounting policies and procedures aligned with the company’s financial strategy.
Oversee financial operations, including accounts payable, cash receipts, and asset management.
Lead technical accounting initiatives, including ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) and ASC 842 (Leases).
Direct the company’s annual financial audit, working closely with external auditors.
Monitor, analyze, and report on financial accounting data, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Review and approve monthly account reconciliations.
Own month‑end and year‑end close processes, delivering timely and accurate results.
Analyze financial results versus budget and prior periods, identifying trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
Assist with annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and rolling cash forecasts.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA highly preferred.
7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with strong knowledge of general ledger and consolidation accounting; 2+ years in a people management role.
Experience in Big 4 public accounting (3+ years) and private industry (3+ years) is strongly desired.
