Tax SeniorPosition Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Tax Senior to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing tax compliance and advisory services to our diverse client base. This position requires a strong understanding of tax regulations and a commitment to delivering high-quality client service. The Tax Senior will work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide strategic tax planning and support.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships including 1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065, and 990 formsConduct tax research and stay updated on IRS regulations and state tax laws to ensure compliance and optimize tax strategiesAssist in tax planning and strategy development for high net worth individuals and businessesProvide audit support and respond to inquiries from tax authoritiesCollaborate with clients to understand their financial situations and provide tailored tax adviceSupport the preparation of tax provisions and financial statements in accordance with GAAPEngage in client meetings to discuss tax implications and reporting requirementsProvide training and mentorship to junior staff regarding tax preparation and compliance processesAssist in budgeting and financial analysis related to tax strategies and compliancePerform risk assessments related to tax compliance and planningQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related fieldCPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification required3-5 years of experience in public accounting or tax advisory servicesStrong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulationsExperience with tax preparation software and financial reporting toolsExcellent analytical skills and attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and team membersAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with high net worth individual tax issues and non-profit organizations is a plus
