Salary: $175,000 – 200,000 +BonusThis is a rare opportunity to define the future of HR technology at a leading healthcare organization. This Director will play a pivotal role in moving our HRIS environment from legacy on-premise systems to a modern, cloud-based HCM platform—most likely Workday. Your vision and leadership will shape how we deliver HR services, data, and insights across the enterprise.
In this role, you will provide strategic leadership for all HR technology platforms and services while overseeing the migration from on-premise HR systems such as PeopleSoft to SaaS HCM platforms such as Workday or Oracle Cloud HCM. You will manage and grow a unified HRIT team including analysts, developers, and system administrators, ensuring ongoing system support, upgrades, and optimizations during and after the transition. You will also partner closely with HR, IT, and business leaders to ensure seamless alignment of technology with organizational needs, while safeguarding compliance, security, and data integrity in accordance with healthcare and HR regulations. Building strong relationships with vendors and implementation partners will be essential to ensuring accountability and success throughout this transformation.
We are looking for a senior leader with at least ten years of progressive experience in HR technology leadership. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise with enterprise HRIS/HCM platforms, including Workday, Oracle Cloud, or PeopleSoft, and a proven track record of leading large-scale migrations from on-premise environments to SaaS or cloud platforms. Experience in healthcare or other highly regulated industries is strongly preferred, as is a strong background in team leadership, vendor management, and change management. A bachelor’s degree is required, and certifications such as Workday or Oracle Cloud credentials, PMP, or ITIL are a plus.

10+ years of progressive HR technology leadership experience.
Hands-on expertise with enterprise HRIS/HCM platforms, including Workday, Oracle Cloud, or PeopleSoft.
Proven success leading large-scale migrations from on-prem to SaaS/cloud.
Background in healthcare or highly regulated industries strongly preferred.
Strong track record of team leadership, vendor management, and change management.
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced certifications (Workday, Oracle Cloud, PMP, ITIL) are a plus.
