Kim Varnadore State Farm is seeking an organized, outgoing, and customer-focused Front Desk Receptionist who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping people, staying organized, and confidently handling multiple tasks throughout the day.

You will be the face of our agency-greeting customers, managing communication, assisting with basic policy updates, and helping customers understand billing questions-while supporting a high-performing team.

Licensing Requirement

A Florida 4-40 Customer Representative license is required for this role.

• If not currently licensed, you must be willing to obtain it • We provide full guidance and support to help you successfully complete the licensing process • Employment is contingent upon obtaining this license

Role Overview

As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will manage daily front office operations while delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will handle incoming calls, assist with simple policy changes, answer billing-related questions, and ensure customers are directed efficiently.

This is a service-first role with opportunities to support account growth through customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities

Greet customers in person and over the phone with professionalism and energy

Manage incoming calls, route inquiries, and schedule appointments

Assist customers with basic policy changes, updates, and documentation

Explain billing inquiries, payments, and account details clearly and confidently

Maintain accurate customer records and update information in the system

Handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced office environment

Follow up with customers to ensure needs are met and issues are resolved

Support the team with administrative tasks and daily office operations

Identify opportunities to connect customers with additional products when appropriate

Ability to explain information clearly, especially billing and account details

Detail-oriented with strong follow-through

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Previous receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience preferred

Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, CRM systems)
