Lots of visibility. Interesting, complex, diverse portfolio.Chance to bring next-level approach to role and finance teamMentoring a small team that is longing for some!Responsibilities include:Leads teams responsible for real estate accounting, tax functions (there is a Tax Manager here), and delivers cross-functional accounting leadership to ensure consistency and operational excellence.Provides strategic leadership for accounting, budgeting, and financial control activities.Enhances internal controls by establishing and maintaining effective financial systems and processes.Serves as a key member of the financial leadership team, supporting the Controller and collaborating with partners across multiple departments to resolve complex accounting issues.Oversees compliance with GAAP, and org fiscal policies, and relevant external regulations; manages internal control and tax matters.Drives process improvements using technology and automation to increase efficiency and accuracy.RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have:• BS Accounting or Finance• 10+ yrs exp.• Good Commercial RE, REIT, Property Accounting management exp• Prior supervisory, managing, mentoring a must. Leadership skills are key.Interested candidates should apply here, but can also connect with John Bresnahan on LI for further emphasis.Job typePerm
