Enabled by modern platforms and AI, you’ll do the most meaningful work of your career and see your impact at scale.Job Description:Job SummaryThe Sr. Product Owner (PO) is a member of the Agile Team responsible for defining user stories and prioritizing the Team Backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the Features or components for the team.

The Sr. Product Owner will work directly with a product manager to analyze Epiq Discovery stories, including backlog grooming, understanding customer use cases, and working with developers to understand implementation complexity.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesBe the liaison between the business unit teams and development/technology teamsResponsible for developing functional requirements and related business rules based on customer’s (internal and external) needsCollaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needsWork closely with key business partners and subject matter experts in the definition, testing, training, implementation, and support of functional requirementsIdentify requirements via industry standard analysis techniques such as data flow modeling, workflow analysis, and functional decomposition analysis. Solicit requirements through interviews, workshops, and/or existing system documentation and procedures.Develops and analyzes functional and non-functional requirements for technology solutions with stakeholders according to Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and internal standards to ensure business needs are well understood, clearly defined, and properly aligned with overall project scope.Participate in daily stand-up meetings to facilitate the understanding, clarification, and implementation of requirements in an Agile development environmentCritically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needsDrive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plansServes as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team through which requirements flowDevelop functional requirements specifications according to standard templates, using natural language and user storiesQualifications & Characteristics5+ years’ experience working in an Agile software development life cycle methodology, or equivalent.Ability to understand software development framework, architecture concepts and terminologyDesire to work closely with Technical/Engineering teams (No need for Programming/Coding but would be helpful to have this knowledge when interfacing with technical teams)Excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent analytical and organizational skills; strong deductive reasoningAbility to multi-task and work on separate projects in a fast paced & dynamic environmentStrong analytical and technical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirementsExperience in using enterprise-wide requirements definition and management systems and methodologies requiredAbility to work independently or as part of a teamExperience with Epiq Processing workflows a huge plus.​#LI-KS1The Compensation range for this role is $160,000 -$185,000 USD annually and may be eligible for an annual bonus.In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer. Your specific salary will be determined based on several factors:Location-based market rate for the roleYour abilities in relation to the job specificationPerformance during screening and interviewPay parity with the wider team in the considered locationFurther details about the package will be provided during the initial screening call with the Talent Acquisition Team.Click here to learn about Epiq's Benefits.It is Epiq’s policy to comply with all applicable equal employment opportunity laws by making all employment decisions without unlawful regard or consideration of any individual’s race, religion, ethnicity, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expressions, transgender status, sexual and other reproductive health decisions, marital status, age, national origin, genetic information, ancestry, citizenship, physical or mental disability, veteran or family status or any other basis protected by applicable national, federal, state, provincial or local law.
