Position Overview

Vantage is seeking aSeniorOTSpecialist to lead global industrial automation initiatives anddriveadvancementsinOperational Technology (OT). In this role, you will combine technicalexpertisewith strategic oversight to develop, standardize, and implement scalable automation solutions across our global data centerproductline. You will work closely with cross-functional teams tocreatesecureand reliableOTnetworkand infrastructuredesigns.You will alsobe responsible forestablishingand maintaining global standards, promoting best practices, and driving continuous improvement.

This role can be based remotely in the US.

Essential Job Functions

  • Collaborate withcross-functional teams including design, engineering,IT,cybersecurity,operations, and sustainabilityto develop, implement, andoptimizeindustrial automationdesigns andstandardsacross Vantage's global data center product line.

  • Build relationships withregionalpeers and internal customers to understand their needs,discover opportunities,develop solutions,solicitfeedback, capturelessons learned, andfacilitatethetransferof knowledge globally.

  • Provideoperational technologyexpertiseand guidance across all regions and organizational levels.

  • Develop andmaintainglobalautomation standardssuch asindustrial control network specifications and architecture drawings,switch andfirewallspecifications, detailed designspecifications,ICS network monitoring and security specifications, etc.

  • Createrobust andadaptableOTsolutions that meet internal and external customer requirementswhile ensuring compliance withcybersecurity standards andOTbest practices.

  • DevelopOT architecturesthatenable digital transformation, includingIIoTdevices, MQTT brokers,machine learning, AI operators, and digital twins.

  • Work with multi-functional partners in support of internal and external telemetry for customer billing, enterprise reporting, and notification.

  • Contribute to QA/QC standardizationto enhance quality product turnover.

  • Partner with regional teams to takenew technologiesand designs from concept to first-of-kind deployment.

  • Craft business cases for research and development opportunities including cost, schedule, performance, and testing requirements.

  • Provide leadershipand training toteam members, contractors, and consultants.

Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of industry standards, including ISA-95, the Purdue model, ISA/IEC 62443, etc.

  • Experience authoring automation design standards, specifications, andrequirements.

  • Deep understandingof OT network topologies and protocols, such as device level ring (DLR),resilient ethernet protocol (REP),EtherNet/IP, Modbus, andOPC-UA.

  • ExperiencewithdesigningOT/ICS networks and security to include firewalls,switches, and secure remote access solutions.

  • Experience working with virtualization platforms,high availability and redundancy configurations,WindowsandLinux server software,Active Directory, DNS, and Domain Controllers.

  • Knowledge of Rockwell Automation hardwareand software.

  • Experiencewith Inductive Automation IgnitionSCADAsoftware.

  • Experienceselecting, managing, and collaborating with external vendors, contractors, and consultants.

  • 5+years ofindustrialautomationexperiencewithin missioncriticalenvironmentsrequired.

  • BachelorofScience degree inengineering, computerscience, or equivalentis desirable but notrequired.

  • Travel is expected to be15%but mayincrease over timeas the businessevolves.

  • This position is open to remote candidates.

Additional Details

  • Salary Range: $150,000-160,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations)

  • Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including your qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
