Overview This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections. Technical Focus We are seeking a skilled back-end developer with experience in Node.js, MongoDB, REST APIs, and database architecture to help build and optimize key features of our nonprofit platform. Your contributions will enhance our patient management system, enable secure data storage, and improve performance for healthcare providers, donors, and patients accessing our platform. Important Notes Applicants must have the required skills and commit 4+ hours/week. Please include a LinkedIn profile to streamline the application. Candidates seeking CPT/Internships or OPT are not eligible. I’ve reserved Wednesdays from 6–7 PM ET for Taproot meetings. Please keep this time block in mind when proposing additional meeting times.
