
School Age Child Care (SACC) Executive Director

Responsibilities
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The SACC Program at the Rappahannock Area YMCA is one of our largest programs. The SACC Executive Director is responsible for managing, developing, organizing, and implementing high quality school age child care program(s) supporting Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, and Stafford county school systems and select schools in Caroline and King George counties.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent. Meets educational and experience qualifications established by state licensing for Program Director
- At least two years related experience working with school age children in childcare/school
- At least 1 year in supervisory/lead role.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Within 30 days of hire completion of: Child Abuse Prevention for Supervisory Staff; Licensing Training requirements; CPR; First Aid; AED; Bloodborne Pathogens.
- Completes Praesidium within 7 days of hire date.
