Executive Director

Founded in 1959, the Champaign-Urbana Symphony Orchestra (CUSO) and has been honored to be named the Professional Orchestra in Residence at Krannert Center for the Performing Arts since 1988. Over the years, CUSO has performed more than 350 concerts and showcased the talents of hundreds of local, professional musicians, bringing the magic of music to audiences of all ages.

CUSO is seeking an Executive Director to lead the organization’s administrative, financial, and fundraising operations. Working closely with the Board of Directors and the Music Director, the Executive Director will oversee daily operations, support artistic programming, and serve as a key representative of the Orchestra in the community. This position requires strong leadership, nonprofit management experience, and a passion for advancing the mission of a vibrant regional orchestra.
