Salary: $160,000–$180,000 + 20% bonus

  • Deep expertise in demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, and capacity trade-offs.
  • Proven ability to lead cross‑functional planning processes and executive‑level forums.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Executive presence with excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.

About The Role

GS Foods Group is seeking a strategic and results‑driven Director of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to lead the enterprise demand–supply planning process. This role is critical to driving profitable growth, balancing service, inventory, and cash, and ensuring alignment across Commercial, Operations, Procurement, and Finance. The Director will own the S&OP process, ensuring high‑quality demand–supply decisions that impact customer service, inventory exposure, and working capital. This leader will improve forecasting accuracy, optimize inventory productivity, and drive alignment across departments while proactively identifying and escalating risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end‑to‑end S&OP process, including demand review, supply review, and executive alignment forums.
  • Drive cross‑functional decisions on demand–supply trade‑offs and ensure accountability for S&OP commitments.
  • Translate commercial demand plans and operational constraints into executable supply, inventory, and procurement plans.
  • Identify, quantify, and escalated risks with clear scenarios, impacts, and recommended actions.
  • Continuously enhance S&OP governance, cadence, analytical rigor, and decision‑making discipline.
  • Serve as the enterprise integrator across Commercial, Operations, Procurement, and Finance.
  • Improve OTIF performance, inventory productivity, and working capital through disciplined planning.
  • Escalate unresolved trade‑offs and misalignment to executive leadership with actionable recommendations.
