Our client is a sophisticated Real Estate Investment Firm.
This senior-level role requires a deep understanding of real estate operations, revenue management, capital planning and market analytics. You will be responsible for driving asset-level strategy to maximize NOI, asset value and investment returns across a dynamic and growing portfolio.
The ideal candidate brings a strong track record of asset management in the real estate sector, along with exceptional leadership, financial analysis and operational insight.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Asset Oversight
- Lead the development and execution of individual asset business plans, including revenue management strategies, expense controls, capex planning and repositioning initiatives
- Establish performance targets, monitor KPIs (e.g., occupancy, rate per square foot, revenue per available unit) and ensure alignment with portfolio-wide objectives
- Provide guidance for portfolio-level strategic planning and investment committee discussions
- Serve as a key voice in shaping the firm’s overall investment strategy, leveraging asset-level insights to inform portfolio-wide decision-making
- Identify opportunities to increase NOI through pricing strategy, ancillary revenue streams, new business activities, cost reduction, third-party contract optimization and operational efficiency
- Monitor move-in/move-out trends, delinquency rates, and unit mix optimization in collaboration with operations and marketing teams
- Analyze and interpret market trends, competitor performance and customer behavior to inform pricing, marketing and capital investment decisions
- Prepare and present detailed asset performance reports to senior leadership and investors
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Directly communicate and collaborate with all levels of the Operations team, from leadership to on-site staff, to identify deficiencies/opportunities and execute on rectifying/capitalizing
- Liaise with Financial Planning & Analysis team on budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting for assigned assets
- Coordinate with in-house Development team to manage asset-level CapEx initiatives, including expansions, renovations or conversions
- Mentor junior asset managers or analysts; contribute to broader team development and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field; MBA or Master’s in Real Estate preferred
- 10+ years in real estate including at least 5 years managing high performance teams
