NASCAR is seeking an experienced Director, Brand Content Production to lead the strategic development and production of social‑first content across the NASCAR brand and track platforms.
This leader will shape how NASCAR shows up across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and X , setting the creative standards, workflows, and culture that enable high‑impact content at scale.

What You’ll Lead
- Lead a multi‑disciplinary team of producers, videographers, editors, and photographer s responsible for daily social‑first content
- Own the production vision for NASCAR’s social ecosystem, establishing clear expectations for quality, speed, creative standards, and platform‑specific executio n
- Guide the creation of content that drives conversation highlighting NASCAR drivers, culture, moments, and trends tailored uniquely for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and X
- Develop and scale systems for project intake, creative briefing, approvals, shot lists, post‑production workflow, file managemen t, and consistent delivery
- Ensure all content is built with a deep understanding of audience behavior, engagement patterns, retention, shareabilit y, and emerging social trends
- Partner with marketing, social, and NASCAR Productions teams to align creative execution with brand strategy, campaign goals, and tentpole moment s
- Oversee budget, timelines, resourcing, and cross‑team collaboration for major social and digital video projects
- Build repeatable content formats and original franchises that amplify access, personality, and storytelling around the NASCAR experience
- Establish strong creative feedback loops informed by performance insights, audience analytics, platform best practice s, and competitive benchmarks
- Serve as a creative mentor—coaching, hiring, developing, and elevating a high‑performing team of content creators and editors
- Jump in when needed to direct shoots, shape edits, or support fast‑turn executio n while empowering teams to lead their work
- Travel approx. 25%, including some weekends during race season
Supervisory Responsibilities
You will directly oversee assigned production staff, including hiring, training, workflow planning, performance management, and team development aligned with NASCAR’s policies and leadership standards.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university.
- 8+ years of experience in digital content production, with a proven track record in social‑first storytelling, brand content, sports content, or entertainment.
- Expertise in platform‑native content production across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, Facebook, and X.
- Proven success leading creative teams in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
- Ability to push creative boundaries, inspire original thinking, champion collaboration, and foster a culture of speed, experimentation, and high standards.
- Strong experience coaching and growing talent from junior editors to senior‑level creators.
- Proficient with company‑provided production hardware and software.
