ABOUT THE ROLE Our client, a Fortune 100 Financial Services Company, is seeking a Commercial Loan Servicing Representative III to support day-to-day operations and activities related to servicing commercial asset-based lending (ABL) loan transactions. This hybrid position, based in Charlotte, NC or Irving, TX, is a 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity offering weekly pay and a standard 40-hour work week. The role involves leading complex servicing activities, acting as a primary liaison with internal and external teams, and ensuring compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for customer/client modifications, account maintenance, rebooking, purchased receivables management, and ensuring accuracy throughout the life of each transaction.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Lead a variety of servicing activities for complex commercial loan products, including asset-based lending (ABL) transactions
Serve as the primary liaison and collaborate with Sales, Legal, Control and Risk, Technology, Operations, and other internal teams to address customer-focused needs
Review and negotiate complex loan servicing transactions, evaluate risks, devise strategies to mitigate risks, and identify procedural modifications
Act as an escalation point for resolving client issues and coordinate resolution of open customer concerns
Conduct quality reviews and monitor key performance metrics to ensure process efficiency and effectiveness
Coordinate servicing activities related to loan and regulatory diligence, ongoing portfolio maintenance, and customer interaction
Evaluate and upload data into systems of record, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
Research and analyze complex business and operational decisions to support loan servicing operations
Ensure compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Review financial data, reconcile accounts, and calculate charges as part of loan servicing processes
Manage customer/client modifications, account maintenance, rebooking, and purchased receivables management to ensure accuracy throughout the transaction lifecycle
WHAT YOU BRING
Strong experience with commercial loan servicing
Familiarity with asset-based lending (ABL), including tranches, settlements, swinglines, payoffs, restructures, payments, advances, and accruals
Proficiency with loan servicing software and MS Office tools, especially MS Excel
Experience reviewing financial data, reconciling accounts, and calculating charges
Ability to lead servicing activities for complex commercial products
Strong collaboration skills with Sales, Legal, Risk, Technology, and Operations teams
Experience reviewing and negotiating complex loan servicing transactions and evaluating risks
Ability to serve as an escalation point for client issue resolution
Experience conducting quality reviews and monitoring key performance metrics
Knowledge of compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
