Account Executive- Home Health
James River Home Health and Hospice is seeking an Account Executive/Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing, locally owned team in the Prince William territory. In this role, you’ll build relationships with referral sources, drive patient referrals, and serve as a patient advocate by working closely with intake and the care team to ensure a smooth, high-quality experience. We’re looking for someone who can develop and execute strategies to grow accounts and market share!

A brief overview of Responsibilities:
In this role, you will forecast needs, set priorities, and execute business strategies to drive growth and achieve sales revenue goals. You will build and maintain strong relationships with physicians and referral sources by presenting the benefits of quality patient care at home, while actively working to grow market share through increased referrals and participation in James River’s programs.
You will collaborate closely with operational, clinical, and business development teams to communicate new referrals and stay informed on patient progress.
This position also involves developing and executing a strategic business plan for your assigned territory, consistently performing sales calls, liaison visits, and prospecting efforts to generate and maintain new accounts. You will actively participate in sales meetings, contribute to improving team processes, and support overall business objectives, along with completing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 1+ year successful experience in Home Healthcare, Business Development, or related industry preferred
Successful previous experience in business development, outreach, or healthcare related role
Must be able to interact with health professionals at all levels
