General Purpose of the Role The Sr. Director, Finance, serves as a strategic finance partner to the CFO and Executive Leadership Team, driving enterprise-wide financial planning, analysis, and performance management. This leader will oversee the company’s budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes while delivering actionable insights that guide critical business decisions and support profitable growth. The ideal candidate will be a highly analytical and strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, balancing financial discipline with innovation to support Cinch’s transformation and growth strategy. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee the FP&A function, ensuring robust forecasting, budgeting, and long-range financial planning processes. Serve as a trusted advisor to the CFO and senior executives, providing clear, data-driven insights that influence strategic decision-making. Partner cross-functionally with business unit leaders to evaluate financial performance, identify opportunities, and drive accountability for results. Develop and present detailed financial analyses, forecasts, and recommendations for executive and board-level review. Oversee the preparation of materials for Board of Directors, investor relations, and senior management presentations. Build and manage a high-performing FP&A team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and analytical excellence. Design and implement performance dashboards, KPIs, and reporting frameworks to track financial performance and operational efficiency. Lead the continued development and optimization of budgeting tools, financial models, and business intelligence systems (e.g., Hyperion, Tableau). Evaluate and improve financial processes, ensuring scalability, accuracy, and efficiency across the organization. Support M&A modeling and integration activities, including due diligence, valuation, and post-acquisition performance tracking. Act as the analytical engine of the company, delivering insights that enhance ROI across marketing, pricing, and operational initiatives. perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Experience 10+ years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Finance, or Strategic Finance, including at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven experience leading FP&A teams in a multi-channel or consumer services environment (insurance, financial services, or subscription-based business preferred). Exceptional analytical, strategic, and financial modeling skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Strong business acumen and commercial orientation with a track record of driving performance improvement and profitability. Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes for complex organizations. Expertise in financial systems and tools (e.g., Hyperion, Tableau, Power BI, advanced Excel modeling). Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to influence executive leaders and articulate complex analyses clearly. Experience supporting M&A activities and building pro forma analyses, DCF/NPV/IRR modeling, and integration plans. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business required; MBA or CPA strongly preferred. Strategic Agility: Anticipates future trends and translates them into actionable strategies.
