Role Description Responsibilities
Selling mutual funds, separately managed accounts, ETFs and Private Market Solutions to the broker-dealer community
Consulting and advising with financial advisors to provide them with value-added strategies to increase growth of their practice
Expanding and deepening relationships with financial advisors to meet or exceed sales targets, retain existing assets, cross-sell and grow AUM
Liaising between the financial advisor and the Nomura home office
Utilizing firm resources including but not limited to SS&A, Salesforce, Allego, Seismic, Y-charts and other technologies
Maintaining CRM database with accurate and up-to-date activity, sales pipeline, and advisor information
Managing travel and entertainment budget wisely and in a manner that complies with internal compliance and our client firms’ cash/non-cash policies
Qualifications
CAIA, CIMA, CFP, CFA or other industry designations preferred
Clean U-4, clean compliance record required
Extensive External wholesaling experience in the open territory with a proven track record of sales and territory growth in that territory.
Currently resides in the territory, optimally located to cover the entire territory effectively and efficiently.
Deep existing relationships with advisors and centers of influence with relevant Wire and Independent advisors.
Series 7 and 66 (or 7, 63 and 65) licenses required

*base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, corporate and functional title and duties, job-related knowledge and advanced degrees, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, discretionary awards and eligibility for commissions for applicable sales roles in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
