What does a Senior Manager, Category Commercial do at Swire Coca‑Cola? As a Category Commercial Manager, you will play a critical role in leading and managing a specific product category within our organization. You will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies that drive revenue, market share, and profitability. This role requires a strong combination of strategic thinking, market analysis, sales, and leadership skills to achieve and exceed business objectives.

Responsibilities
Category Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive category strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives. Execute category performance analysis utilizing data analytics and reporting tools to evaluate category performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data‑driven decisions.
Sales and Marketing Skills: Strong sales and marketing acumen to drive revenue and profitability within the category. Work closely with the brand teams to develop marketing plans, campaigns, and execution strategies to drive category growth. Negotiate, monitor performance, and manage relationships to maximize category performance.
Product Portfolio Management: Manage the product portfolio within the category, including product selection, and lifecycle management. Collaborate with the internal team to identify new opportunities and execution tactics in innovation launch.
Market Analysis: Proficiency in using data analytics and tools to make data‑driven decisions and continuously improve the category's performance. Conduct in‑depth market research, including competitor analysis, customer preferences, and industry trends, to identify opportunities and challenges within the category.
Financial Management: Create and manage the category budget, forecast sales, and analyze profitability. Ensure cost control and efficient resource allocation.
Team Leadership: The ability to lead and motivate a cross‑functional team, including product managers, marketing professionals, and sales representatives. Motivate, coach, and mentor team members to achieve category goals.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, or a related field required
6+ years Strategy development with strong preference to experience in beverage or fast‑moving consumer product goods industry required
4+ years Driving cross‑functional teamwork and project management required
Strategic thinking and problem‑solving abilities
Strong understanding of the specific product category, market dynamics, and industry trends
Proven experience in brand/category management or a related role
Results‑driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding performance targets
Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and lead in a dynamic environment
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
Proficiency in data analysis and the use of relevant software tools
