Position Overview Stadium Golf Club is seeking an experienced, driven, and passionate Golf Course Superintendent to lead all aspects of golf course maintenance and operations. This leadership role is responsible for delivering exceptional playing conditions, maintaining the long‑term health of the property, and fostering a positive, high‑performing team culture. The Golf Course Superintendent reports directly to club ownership/management and is responsible for the overall management of the golf course, grounds, and maintenance facilities. This hands‑on leadership position requires strong agronomic knowledge, strategic planning skills, financial oversight, and team leadership. The Superintendent will oversee daily operations, long‑term planning, staff development, and capital improvements while maintaining open communication with club leadership and membership.

Key Responsibilities

Direct all daily maintenance operations for the golf course, practice areas, and grounds

Develop and implement agronomic programs including turf health, cultural practices, moisture management, fertilization, and pest control

Lead, train, schedule, and evaluate maintenance staff to ensure productivity, safety, and professional development

Manage irrigation system operation, troubleshooting, repairs, and water conservation initiatives

Prepare and manage annual operating budgets, expense tracking, and capital improvement planning

Oversee equipment maintenance programs and facility organization

Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, safety standards, and pesticide application requirements

Maintain clear communication with club leadership and membership regarding course conditions, projects, and expectations

Collaborate with golf operations and other departments to deliver a high‑quality member and guest experience

Plan and execute seasonal projects and long‑term course improvement initiatives

Qualifications

New York State Pesticide Applicator License (or ability to obtain within 90 days)

Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
