Job Location & Schedule The position is one‑stop program at the University of Oklahoma (Norman Campus). Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 10 – 20 hours per week. Work Type: Onsite.

Compensation & Benefits Targeted Salary: $10.00 per hour, based on experience. Benefits: None.

Job Overview The Education Abroad team invites student employees to join the Outreach Team as Marketing Assistants. The role reports directly to the Assistant Director of Outreach and focuses on developing content to promote study abroad at OU. Ideal candidates are undergraduate students majoring in Advertising, Creative Media Production, Communication, International Business, Marketing, Public Relations, or any other major with a passion for creative marketing.

Key Responsibilities

Design content for social media, websites, flyers, online brochures, and other communication platforms.

Write creative captions, taglines, and other promotional content.

Participate in marketing and recruitment activities such as the Study Abroad Fair and International Education Week.

Collaborate on marketing campaigns and strategies.

Job Requirements Required Education

– Must be currently enrolled in a combination of two terms as a student at OU. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.

Required Skills

Experience with software such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.

Experience managing social media for a brand or company (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Able to work independently and in collaboration with a team.

Passion for creative marketing and study abroad/international education.

Creativity, enthusiasm, and vision for promoting global engagement experiences to all OU students.

Advertised Physical Requirements

Standard office environment.

Occasional bending, lifting, stooping.

Department Preferences

Prior study abroad experience strongly preferred.

Prefer long‑term candidate (through Spring 2027 or beyond but flexible).
