About The Role

Total Wine & More is seeking a Senior Manager, Audio Advertising to join our Marketing team in Bethesda, MD. You will lead audio advertising strategy across Radio, Digital Audio, and Podcasting, to drive purchase intent and deliver measurable results. This role will lead audio advertising strategy by developing objectives, goals and KPIs and gaining alignment with Senior Leadership. The Sr. Manager, Audio Advertising will develop a 12–24 month roadmap that includes testing of new advertising initiatives to identify scalable opportunities, strategy to leverage expanded industry capabilities, continually refining audience targeting, and creative evolution. The ideal candidate is a data‑driven marketer with a passion for brand storytelling, media planning, and cross‑functional collaboration, with the ability to translate complexity into clear and concise strategy. You will promote, align, and influence media strategy with brand goals, analytics, innovation and testing, while collaborating across teams to ensure executional excellence. This role requires strong analytical skills, creative vision, and the ability to influence stakeholders across functions. You will report to the VP, Brand Advertising & Campaign Management.

You Will

  • Lead the development and alignment of enterprise level audio advertising strategies across Radio, Digital Audio, and Podcasting, ensuring initiatives maximise brand impact, strengthen market position, and deliver strong ROI.
  • Influence and align stakeholders on testing and innovation in audience targeting, formats, reach, frequency, and messaging to uncover performance insights.
  • Develop a forward looking 12–24 month roadmap that advances Total Wine & More’s podcast and digital audio capabilities, identifying scalable opportunities and positioning the brand as a leader in the evolving audio landscape.
  • Negotiate media placements and partnerships to secure value and strategic alignment.
  • Lead cross‑functional collaboration with creative, merchandising, and analytics teams to ensure cohesive messaging and seamless execution across all audio channels.
  • Forecast and review KPIs and performance trends with senior leadership, while providing actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Align media strategy with broader brand and business objectives, ensuring consistency and impact across channels.

You Will Come With

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred or equivalent years of experience.
  • 7–10 years of Marketing, advertising, or related experience preferred.
  • Track record of managing projects and functions in the advertising space is preferred.
  • Experience in Marketing, with expertise in media planning, a deep understanding of multi‑channel brand advertising strategies, core advertising measurement functions, analytics, and executive‑level communication.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret campaign performance data, optimise strategies accordingly, and communicate results with clear and concise written and verbal communication.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience tailoring messages for different audiences, including leadership teams.
  • Ability to lead projects with multiple deliverables, ensuring all brand initiatives are executed on time and within budget.
  • Ability to drive strategy by aligning cross‑functionally with merchandising, creative teams, and external agencies to drive brand consistency and performance.
  • Naturally curious and creative mindset with a passion for learning, gaining an understanding of new industry capabilities, implementing evolved tactics, and creative storytelling.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $119,250-$204,400 Annually
