Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented
Loan Processor
to support loan servicing operations. This role focuses on
document collection, research, and deficiency resolution , ensuring loan files are complete and compliant in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities Document Procurement
Ensure all required final documents are collected as loans fund
Identify and resolve missing or incomplete documentation
Document Research & Retrieval
Use third-party tools (county websites, subscription services, internal systems) to locate outstanding documents
Research and retrieve loan-related documentation efficiently
Workflow & Pipeline Management
Work deficiency queues using internal systems (e.g., Arrow)
Manage a pipeline of up to ~150 loans simultaneously
Track progress and maintain accurate records
Communication & Follow-Up
Conduct outreach via email and phone to resolve document gaps
Follow up consistently with stakeholders to close deficiencies
Loan Processing Support
Partner with internal/external teams to ensure loan files are complete and compliant
Support downstream loan processing activities
Required Qualifications
6+ months of
loan servicing / loan processing / mortgage support experience
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously
Comfortable working in a
fully digital/virtual document environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with
mortgage servicing, loan processing, or document management
Familiarity with tools like
workflow systems / document tracking platforms
Strong communication skills (email + phone follow-ups)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
