Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role in Red Wing, MN for a Customer Service Representative. The role involves providing exceptional assistance to customers, managing customer inquiries, coordinating order processing, and resolving any issues that may arise. The Customer Service Representative will actively support outside sales and operations teams, ensuring smooth communication and superior experience for Walvoil's customers.

Primary Responsibilities

Manage the order book for each assigned account.

Monitor the open orders portfolio, promptly communicate changes to customers, to CSR supervisor and Purchasing team whenever relevant changes are made by customers, and proactively manage the changes with CSR Supervisor and Purchasing team.

Manage the forecast book for each assigned account.

Maintain timely communication by voice and e-mail with all assigned accounts.

Maintain timely communication by voice and e-mail with the Account Manager group and the Production Planning group concerning current and future Customer requirements.

Develop and maintain quality relationships with customers and all Walvoil personnel.

Provide basic product support for all customers through the use of the technical catalogs and price books.

Qualifications

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with a focus on problem-solving and conflict resolution

Effective communication skills are mandatory. Must possess proper command of English language, written and oral

Experience in order management, scheduling, and logistics coordination

Proficiency in office software and CRM systems

Knowledge or experience in the hydraulic or manufacturing industry is a plus

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

High-school diploma or equivalent; higher education or specialized training in customer relations or related fields is preferred

Must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook & Excel)

Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed
