We are a small international firm based in New York City, specializing in high-end residential and commercial projects. Immediate local hire.
We are looking for an architect with preferred qualifications to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of construction documents and specifications, construction phase services and working on construction sites. The position provides the opportunity to work independently and collaboratively, gaining responsibility and sharing of knowledge.
Requirements
2 to 4 years high-end architectural design and rendering experience (retail and residential).
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture.
Demonstrate work experience with architectural firms.
Proficiency in Lumion, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign).
Proficiency in 3D tools such as SketchUp, and Rhino.
Meet project timelines and client expectations and be proactive.
Organizing and assembling construction documents and having technical skills in detailing.
Proficient in putting together sets of drawings.
Communicate effectively with consultants, clients, and contractors; and have experience coordinating work of consulting engineers.
Ability to handle fast-paced projects and deadlines.
Excellent communication skills.
Compensation Commensurate with qualifications.
