Role Description Brown Harris Stevens Brooklyn is seeking Licensed Real Estate Salespersons to join our team.
This role is designed for individuals who want to build and maintain a meaningful, long‑term business in real estate, whether you are experienced or newer to the industry.
Agents represent buyers and sellers across Brooklyn, guiding clients through each stage of the transaction with professionalism and care. Responsibilities include building and maintaining a network, advising on pricing and strategy, showing properties, negotiating deals, and managing transactions from start to finish.
This is a flexible, self‑directed role supported by a collaborative, in‑person office culture and hands‑on leadership.
Qualifications
Active New York State Real Estate License (or in the process of obtaining one)
Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills
Professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
Strong organizational and communication skills
Experienced agents
Established skills in real estate transactions, including pricing, negotiation, and deal management
Strong knowledge of the Brooklyn market and transaction process
Existing network and/or client base
New or newer agents
Driven to build a career within a collaborative, in‑person team environment while maintaining flexibility and autonomy
A genuine interest in Brooklyn - its architecture, neighborhoods, and culture
Strong interpersonal instincts and the ability to build relationships and community
