Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Morning News Anchor and Multimedia Journalist located in Kennewick, WA. Responsibilities include co-anchoring the morning news program, developing engaging content for broadcast and digital platforms, reporting on breaking news, conducting interviews, writing scripts, and editing news packages. Collaborating with producers, photographers, and the broader newsroom team to deliver accurate, timely, and engaging stories is also a vital part of this role.
Qualifications
Proficiency in news anchoring, script writing, and live reporting
Ability to shoot and edit video for broadcast and digital content
Strong interviewing and storytelling skills, with experience in multimedia journalism
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Familiarity with digital and social media platforms to enhance digital storytelling
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced newsroom
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field preferred
Experience in television broadcasting or related media roles is a plus
